Wally Herzog is my hero!  I often shout out like a babbling baboon about how ”I do not fear death, just regret!” or something or other about when I die I hope to have done everything I wanted, but here is a man I am sure accomplished that.   I thought I was a bit extreme when I left my previous job because I felt a bit unsettled.  In 1971, Mr. Herzog, 33 at the time, was driving his car, heard a radio ad for the Peace Corp, pulled off the side of the road and used a pay phone to get the application, the rest you can say is history.  Click here to see the details, but to summarize he was in the Peace Corp in Congo, entrepreneur in Kinshasa, hiked Mr. Kilimanjaro, ran the Boston Marathon, rafted down the Colorado river, walked Death Valley and CRUSHED the F n balls out of LIFE!  Unfortunately  he passed away in Hyde park, Cincinnati last Tuesday, 2/2/2010.   Obviously I cannot be sure if he died with any regrets, but if I live my life to half of the extent he did, I could die a happy man!  Sooooooooooo…..all you 30+ potential life CRUSHERS…still think you are too old to CRUSH THE DAY!

Out to CRUSH FOOD!
